Plough Bolts

Plough Bolts

Plough bolts are threaded fasteners with a flat, tapered head. Some of them feature a fully threaded shank, whereas others feature a partially threaded shank. Regardless, all plough bolts feature a smooth and flat head that's tapered — it becomes narrower — towards the threading.

Plough bolts are typically used to attach the plough share (blade) to the frog (frame) and allow earth to pass over their heads without obstruction to the moldboard. They are also used to fasten the blade to bulldozers and motor graders.
